Can Digital Innovation Stop Modern Slavery? MTV Hopes So
What’s the most appropriate way to end slavery? If you’re MTV, the answer is with $10,000 and a nation of digitally disposed students seeking to make a difference. MTV and mtvU, its activism-minded sibling, are announcing the next step of the “Against Our Will” promotion to elevate recognition about progressive slavery.
The program, called the Against Our Will Challenge , calls on students to emanate an innovative digital apparatus that will elevate recognition and hopefully end slavery. The manners are far-reaching open, permitting the contestants to erect whatever they regard will do the most good, either that’s a video game, a content service, a widget or even a intelligent use of an API.
