Gaby Scanlon, British Teen Who Drank Liquid Nitrogen Cocktail, Has Stomach Surgically Removed

A British young person had to bear crisis operation final week to obtain her belly private after she drank a glass nitrogen bubbly beverage at a booze bar.

According to the Guardian , Gaby Scanlon from Lancashire, England, was celebrating her 18th birthday final Thursday when she began to feel sick, “becoming breathless and building serious belly pain.” The teen was taken to the hospital, where she was ” diagnosed with a seperated belly .”

Doctors operated immediately, and Scanlon’s belly was removed. Police say she would have died had surgeons not achieved the complete gastrectomy, the BBC reports.

As of Monday afternoon, Scanlon is mentioned to be in serious, but sound condition. The BBC explains :
People who have had a gastrectomy will still be able to lead a normal life and eat and splash periodic food but they will must be eat not as big amounts and take vitamin supplements to ensure they obtain sufficient nourishment.
